Chapter 8, Problem 20RA
Summary Introduction
To review:
The categories and Electroencephalogram (EEG) patterns of sleep and their corresponding benefits.
Introduction:
EEG (electroencephalogram) is used to detect the electrical activities (waves) of the brain. The action potential generated over the cells of the brain are produced in different waveforms. The four different waves produced according to the frequency are alpha, beta, theta, and delta waves that represent the electrical patterns of the brain activities.
