Chapter 44, Problem 12TYU
Summary Introduction
To explain: How is the heart of a fish specifically adapted to its lifestyle.
Introduction: In vertebrates, the circulatory systems of the animals modified through evolution, so that animals can adapt to their lifestyle. Some vertebrates have a single circuit for circulation and some have the double circuit for the blood flow. The heart of the fish is also designed in a different way to overcome the problem with a double-chambered heart.
