Answers must be expressed in engineering notation (when the exponent of the base 10 multiplier is not a multiple of 3, press ENG or SHIFT+ENG, whichever the case.) Example: 0.06N or 6.0x10-2 N must be expressed to 60x10-3³ N or 60mN 1. A beam of light reflects and refracts at point A on the interface between material 1 (n₁ = 1.33) and material 2 (n₂ = 1.66). The incident beam makes an angle of 40° with the interface. What is the angle of reflection at point A? 2. Find the critical angle for a water-glass boundary. (Assume the index of refraction of water is 1.33 and glass is 1.52.) 3. A mug 3cm in height is placed 12cm in front of a mirror. An upright image is 9cm tall is produced. What kind of mirror is being used? What is the radius of curvature? Draw the ray diagram.
Help me solve the following table. Angle of incidence (?i) is 65, angle uncertainty (??) is 1. I tried (1*2.4919*pi)/180 * ((1/tan65)+(1/tan22)) = ?n, but it said the answer was wrong, and i don't know how to continue from there. So, the answer cannot be 4.8838.
a.The fixed field of G is a subfield of F. b.  If the focal distance of an end of theminor axis of an ellipse (referred to its axes as the      axes ofx and y, respectively) is k and the distance between its foci is 2h, then find its       equation. c. If (5, 12) and (24, 7) are the foci of anellipse passing through the origin, then find the     eccentricity of the ellipse.
