1. Dr Dela Cruz is a dentist. She has a dental clinic operating under the name SmilesCity Dental Clinic. For the month of June 2019, she earned ₱574,734 from rendering services to clients as dentist. She also provides other dental related services which earned ₱234, 774. She also had a free dental service for depressed are at a cost of ₱65,800. In order to operate, the dental clinic spent ₱342, 550 during the month for dental supplies. Common operating expenses include salaries of ₱96,554 to nurses and assistants, ₱ 18,000 rent, and ₱10,000 utilities. Depreciation of dental clinic equipment amounted to ₱8,530. However, during the month the equipment needed repair and maintenance work which costed the clinic ₱4,897. And also has a service cost for free check-up in the total of ₱25,600
A few years ago, Sam Gig founded Gig n Spin Consultancy Services. Sam is aware that you and your group members are pursuing an accounting course while in college and therefore has approached the team for advice. He wishes to know how much net income his business earned during the past year in order to decide whether to keep the company going. His accounting records consist a trial balance and some additional notes required to make adjustments to the financial statements.
