Introduction:

Expression vectors are the vectors used in cloning. They express their genetic material in the host cell and also alter the expression of host cells. The extra part, which is transferred, is called transgene. The expression vector contains a poly-A sequence of mRNA (messenger-ribonucleic acid) for the expression in eukaryotic cells.
