This says that the ratio of the square of the orbital period (P) to the cube of the distance (r) from the sun is a constant (C): P2/r3 = C. Given that the orbital period of the Earth is one year [yr], and its distance from the sun is one astronomical unit [au], create two subplots in a single figure window showing the theoretical relationship between orbital period and orbital radius. Place the radius on the abscissa over a range of 0.2 to 50 au, and the orbital period on the ordinate using units of years. One of the plots should use linear axes and the other should use logarithmic axes.
