Chapter 13, Problem 5CTQ
Summary Introduction
Toconduct: The research on germ-free mice and describe their physiology in the absence of resident biota.
Introduction:
The organisms are the organisms that do not reside microorganisms are termed as germ-free organisms. The microorganisms are killed with antimicrobial drugs to isolate the animal from all the germs. The exposure to a pathogen is studied in absence of microbes and the effects are compared with effect on normal animals affected with pathogens.
