Write a program that will give the user a brief introduction, then allow the user to type in the name of the file to be analyzed, the name of the data file to generate, and then process the data to match the output that is shown below.
This DNA test measures the various parts of the sequence and assigns them a letter. While the letters could be anything from A to Z, the only letters that matter for this test are the letters {A,B,C,D} all other letters can be ignored completely. A sample will be tested, given a length of time and then tested again. Each time the scientist will generate a line of data. Here is one Example: Example #1 AAAAABBBBBCCCCCDDDDD AAEBCBAFBBCDCECDADDEFEEFFF At first glance the sample looks significantly different after the second test. But if you look at the data, you will note that since we only care about A,B,C,D’s that the…
Body Mass Index
Write a program that reads names, weights, and heights from bmi.dat (provided with starter code; do not change the file name). Use the information to calculate and displays a person’s body mass index (BMI). The BMI is often used to determine whether a person with a sedentary lifestyle is overweight or underweight for his or her height. A person’s BMI is calculated with the following formula:
BMI = weight × 703 / height2
where weight is measured in pounds and height is measured in inches.
The file is in the format
name weightInKG heightInCM
You will read the name, weight and height for 4 people from the file, and you will need to convert the weights in the file to pounds (note that 1 kilogram = 2.2 pounds) and the heights to inches (2.54 cm = 1 inch).
The program should display the person's name along with the calculated BMI and a message indicating whether the person has optimal weight, is underweight, or is overweight.
Your output should look like
A person’s weight…

- C++ Visual Studio 2019 Write a program that asks the user for the name of a file. The program should display the contents of the file on the screen. Each line of screen output should be preceded with a line number, followed by a colon. The line numbering should start at 1. Here is an example: George Rolland 127 Academy Street Brasstown, NC 28706 If the file's contents won't fit on a single screen, the program should display 24 lines of output at a time, and then pause. Each time the program pauses, it should wait for the user to strike a key before the next 24 lines are displayed. Note: Save text below as the file to use and name it forChap12.txt file for this assignment. The line numbers should NOT be reset for each screen. It can be written in upper or lower case or mixed case as the default. Usage: writer [-f filename] If the -f option is included with a filename, then create a file with that name or overwrite a previously existing file and write your name in on the first line. If the -f option is not included, then only write your name to the screen followed by a newline. Use a copy of the original getopt to parse the command line. The file format is identical to one of the sample passwords.txt provided below. Your program must contain the following functions: Function name Function description Function input(s) Function return value(s) validate() This function takes a password string as input and returns a boolean that determines if the password is valid or invalid. The requirements for a valid password are: The password must be at least 9 characters long and at most 18 characters long (included). The password must end with a letter. The ending letter must be uppercase. The password must contain `62` The password must not start with `@` The password must contain at least 4 digits Password string Boolean main() This function prompts for a file of passwords. This file is known to have 10 numbers in it. Read in each number and print a ‘*’ to the screen if the number is even. If the number is odd, do nothing. Conclude by closing this file.arrow_forwardC# please Write a program that will create file with at least 10 lines. Each line of your file should have information delimited by some delimiter (I.e., commas, spaces, slashes, symbols, etc.). After your file has been created with the proper amount of data, you should read your file line by line and display without the delimiters in the same program after closing your writer. Additionally, the information stored into your file should be data that is gathered from a separate class. Your program should save your file in a specific directory. To promote flexibility, your program should check to see if the chosen directory exists prior creating it, and if it does not exist, your program should create it for you. Additionally, you should allow the user to enter the names of the directory and file instead of hard-coding it into your program.arrow_forward
