Summary Introduction

To review:

The contrast between a chromatid, a chromosome, and a daughter chromosome and their functions in a dividing cell.

Introduction:

The human DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is around 2 meters long if put end to end, but it fits inside a very small nucleus. This is achieved by extensive packing of the DNA into the chromosomes. This packing is done with the help of positively charged proteins that are known as the histones.
