Removal of electronegative atom or addition of Hydrogen is called reduction reaction.

a. In reaction OH is replaced with Cl. This is substitution reaction. And no oxidation state is changed as one electronegative element is replaced with other one. So, no oxidation or reduction reaction.

B. In this O is added which is electronegative element, so oxidation reaction.

C. In this =O is changed to -OH, as H is added to the reaction so it is reduction reaction.
