2) In BCD encoding,
That is, in coding whose entries are between 0-9 and not used between 10-15
(X input),
- F1: makes the output 1 if the input is odd (1,3,5,7,9),
- F2: outputs 1 if the input is even (0,2,4,6,8).
By placing these two functions on the K-Map:
a) Without using X's and,
b) Find the simplest versions by including the X's.
