As a coach roles and responsibilities can affect performance massively. If a coach is on the side line shouting at the referee it will give a bad example of how to treat the match officials that have given up there Sundays so that your matches can be played. The players may also become more focused on the refs game than their own, this means they will not be performing to the best of their ability. The manger must teach the players that the ref’s decision is the final decision and he is controlling the game so he deserves respect. The coach should also teach himself that if the referee makes a decision he doesn’t agree with, he must accept it and move on. If a sports coach doesn’t manage and plan fixtures they might not be ready for the matches. If the players don’t know when the fixtures are they might not be available for them, leading to a lack of players for the games and then consequently making you have to forfeit games.
