This includes following instructions and undertaking training to ensure compliance. • To make the Service Manager and/or Senior Registered Support Worker aware of any safety issues requiring changes to the clients safety plan. • Use of hoist or other specialist equipment to be undertaken after appropriate training and within health and safety guidelines • To implement and adhere to policy and practice in relation to health and safety in all aspects of the post holders work. • To adhere to the post holders own responsibilities for health and safety within the workplace and to colleagues, service users, and the general public. • To administer prescribed medication according to the RCH medication policy and as per the clients individual care plan • To comply with RCH medication policy regarding the safe disposal of medication. • DIVERSITY • Ensure that meaningful involvement of clients is central to all activities, applying equal opportunities and anti discriminatory policies and ensuring rights to privacy and confidentiality • Ensure clients and colleagues are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
