The Qur’an is believe to the ultimate source of God by many Muslim believers. It contains 114 suras for the believers as the core practices of the Islamic religion and Muslims throughout the world recites its verses (Chang, Lecture. 1/21/14). They believed the prophet of Allah was Muhammad, who received the words of Allah through Angel Gabriel, and was passed on with the Qur’an during Ramadan. Angel Gabriel one night came to Muhammad “in clear human form” (“Scripture and Tradition in Islam- The Qur’an and Hadith” 104), and gave the messages from Allah to him. “Surely God is my Lord and your Lord; so serve him. This is a straight path” (Sura 3:38-64, pg.107, Reader), as said promoted a sense of togetherness within the Islamic community. Muslims are faithful believer by being the one who submits him/herself to the will of God. “There is no god but God, and assuredly God is the All-mighty, the All- wise”(Sura 3:38-64, pg.108, Reader), explains that god is the only one worthy for worship. The purpose for their existence as a Muslim attains to be their search for peace and space during their lifetime, and achievement of eternal salvation in their afterlife. “But as for the believers, who do deeds of righteousness, He will pay them in full their wages”(Sura 3:38-64, pg.108, Reader), promise of salvation for followers.

is called the Kalima, which is for Muslims to devote their full submission to God, and believe that there is only one God (Chang, Lecture. 1/23/14). Second is the prayer, in which followers prays 5 times a day separating into (dawn, midday, afternoon, sunset, and before bed) and also performing ritual cleansing (Gordon 71). Praying during these times of the day pronounce a sense of community and unity in Islam, as it was a psychological effect to everyone that there was a common bond.
