Since Michael Kaplan was Jewish Avriel Benjamin Kaplan’s name was hard to pronounce, so they called him Avi for short. When Avi Kaplan was five years old his sister was born, Esther Kaplan. He went to school at Mt. Whitney High School. In school, Kaplan was bullied because he was part Jewish. He started young, killing cats and other animals for the fun of it and to feel “empowered”. Different from other killers, he committed his first murder in middle school. Kuklinski beat a bully death and then disposed of it. A lot of their character traits relate back to their young family life. Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer also known as Milwaukee monster was a notorious American serial killer and sexual offender in the 1980s and early 1990s. Between 1978 and 1991 Dahmer had murdered 17 men. His victims were usually raped, tortured, dismembered, and cannibalism was also involved. Jeffrey was a troubled child psychologically and his social skills had a lot to be desired. Kohlhepp’s troubled childhood is a result of his parent’s divorce. His mother remarried when he was five years old and left him with a stepfather he never got along with. As a child, he showed aggressive, antisocial, and hostile behaviors that eventually led to the start of sessions with a mental health professional. During his therapy sessions in Georgia, Kohlhepp "was very open about his hostility toward his stepfather" and "was preoccupied with sexual content” (Face of Fear). As Todd continued to grow up, his impulsive acts of aggression intensified greatly. Now, authorities say, the 45-year-old real estate agent is a serial killer.
