Would you believe the trial of a man that committed: 137 murders, 35 accounts of grand theft auto, ran over 42 pedestrians, totaled 35 cars, had 5 accounts of rape, and one account of manslaughter while driving intoxicated? That is a hard case for anyone to think it was rational. Better yet, what if the case description explained that all of the above crimes were committed in just two hours’ time? Anybody who thought rationally would think it was impossible in any real life situation, and they are exactly right. I am not talking about something in real life, but something maybe… even scarier, and that is the engaging nature of video games. Video games these days are very vivid and create engaging sequences of real life action that go above and beyond what anyone would have pictured even five years ago. The amount of work gone into video games is very impressive; creating detailed, rich, environments of: London’s downtown bay, the jungles of South America, or the beauty of Chicago’s china town. The graphics and scenery are only half of the impressive technology gone into video games. Gameplay itself is very unique and provides high action, quick decision making skills to survive in the unique three dimensional worlds. However, this quick, decisive, gameplay does not always promote the best learning environment. With gaming becoming such a real life experience, it has found its way into violent video games such as Call of

2. What fundamental factors drew the Europeans to the exploration, conquest, and settlement of the New World?
In the 1400’s, Europeans were finally able to explore across the Atlantic Ocean b/c if the astrolabe (finds latitude – from ancient Greece) and the compass (invented by Chinese): Also used triangular sails (developed by Arabs), which allowed ships to zigzag into the wind.
The improvements in technology in the late 1400s that allowed European exploration of the Western Hemisphere were the usage of gunpowder to battle against people, sailing compasses, and there was the improvements of the ships/ the constant updating of the maps.
I believe that the most useful item that was used during the age of European Exploration was the caravel. This item was a triangular shaped sail used on a boat. It allowed the sailors to dial against the wind. This not only made longer expeditions possible, but made other items more useful. One of these items, the map, could only be useful if you had a ship to actually sail on. Another is the compass. Without a ship the compass wouldn't be irrelevant because there would be no need way to use it. In conclusion, the best item created during the age of European exploration was the caravel.
The Europeans have two great advancements. First, they had caravels that helped them sail. Thesis ships had an agile design. They also allowed the ship to steer head-on into the wind. The ships were built to hold longer voyage and had an easy to handle sail the latten sail. Second, they had many navigational instruments. That where devolved through the years. Thesis instruments gave more accuracy. Some of the inventions were: the compass, the astrolabe, cross-staff, quadrant, back-staff and more. If it were not for thesis inventions the Europeans would not have traveled the
During the Age of Exploration, Europeans left their homes and set out to explore unknown seas. There were mainly 3 things that motivated the Europeans, known as the 3 G’s: God, Glory, and Gold. These 3 things motivated them to explore these unknown seas the most. These were not the only things they wanted, however. They also set out to seek spices, medicine, and other natural resources such as timber, ivory, sugar, and tobacco.
Maybe it's just my nerves getting the best of me. This would be the game of a lifetime and it would be my last game whether we win or lose. The High School championship basketball game would be filled with press and crawling with college coaches eager to offer the students that stand out the most amongst the others. My knee was still bothering me, but I wouldn't let that hold me back from giving my all for the last game of my senior year. Everyone was pumped, we knew it was now or never. We were more than prepared to win this game. We started our pregame dance, as usual, I was always first to start us off because the team agreed I had the most rhythm. I did a few dance moves, a bit of twerking and a few other things my parents probably wouldn't approve of, but it was all for kicks and giggles. After my dancing, I returned to my spot in the circle and waited for the next person to go in.
There is a lot of ways that Technology helped the Europeans discovered the Americas. With the better technology, the easier it was to find the Americas. Which meant that every time an explorer came back, another one would go a little farther. So with better technology, they can find more land, more resources, and spread their religion. They could also map new grounds.
Europeans advanced innovations in mapmaking, navigations, sailing, and ship design enabled them to efficiently travel back and forth to the new world. Along with their skills of sailing Europe also had states and trading companies enabling them to effectively mobilize humans and material resources. The new world presented the European people with many
