Observation: (At least half of one page)

The Students at Brookeville high school resembled the students of any high school, broken and in need of a savior. As my team entered the football stadium we immediately recognized immodesty in the girls, in which many of those were just in middle school. We continued walking and I notice the less popular kids sitting on the grass hill, or off to the side not participating in the event. We finally reached the bleachers and observed the parents screaming and cheering on their emphasis Brookeville bees. After passing the section of adults, we found our seat behind the student section. This area was prime for observing the high school students interact.

As I said I found a seat directly behind the student section, and was able to hear some of the conversations they were having during the game. Some girls would look back at others, then quickly turn and whisper something to their friends. There was one couple that was extremely physical in front of their peers, it hurts to think about how they act in private. I thought the middle school girls were dressed provocatively, but this didn’t compare to the outfits these young ladies were wearing. “Less clothes mean more attention, and more attention means more popularity,” this is what I would think is going through those poor girls minds. I wish I could tell them that they can have a heavenly father who loves them for more than their bodies. On the other hand, the guys were dressing up looking fairly decent, just to make up for something they might think of as a physical flaw. These men gave the girls the attention they desired and it becomes an endless cycle.
These different observation broke my heart once again. I sat there and couldn’t believe I was just in that culture only 2 years ago. I simply was blind to the fact of all the sin that was so easily overlooked. So many students letting a lie control their lives. I want to impact them and make a change. So my team took our desire to see them change and prayed over the
