Other manufacturers were content to target the wealthy American could buy, not even considering the middle or lower class. Ford developed a design and a method of making the cars that steadily and continuously reduced the cost of the car, the car being the Model T. Instead of pocketing the money from the cars Ford used it to make better and more efficient ways to build a car. As a result, Ford Motor Company sold more cars and steadily increased its earnings. Ford, as he made accomplishments throughout his career. From life all the way to death Ford was always looking for ways to improve. When Ford made the Model A, that was the best there was! People were jumping around trying to figure out how they could get one and the people that actually got it done were so satisfied with the vehicle that Ford decided he could start to mass produce the thing. Theeeennnn, well, then along came the assembly line that could produce thousands of cars in a week. The Assembly Line a way of assembling things that made it go much faster. It worked like a belt drive on a car, moving the parts down the line to every station. Every station had a few people working at it that had a specific job to
The Model T Ford was known in every household as the “affordable auto” and Henry Ford set out on a dream to make the Model T a item in every driveway across America and be able to sell them by the multitude (Goss, 2014). However, this dream was not an easy feat for those who wanted the Model T. Henry Ford had to figure out a way to get the automobile to a more affordable and reasonable price that all Americans could handle. With the cost of a Model T in the early 1900’s being $850, approximately $21,000 in today’s market, Henry Ford had to figure out more ways to make the delectable vehicle even more cheaper (Goss, 2014). When Ford first made the Model T in 1908, he had the concept of a cheap car that was attainable to everyone with a very basic, sturdy structure with no additional options from the factory or even the choice of color (Science Odyssey, 1998). After still not being able to fit the cheaper bill that was needed, even after stripping the model to its basic bones, Henry Ford knew that he must find other ways to cut the cost of the Model T to make it more

Ford’s innovation in manufacturing created less expensive cars and higher wage jobs. Henry Ford was also was a big help to the World War II as well because he built vehicles in that time to support the people in the War. Henry at

Henry Ford passion and interest in the field of engineering and mechanics lead to creation of Ford motor. First step by Henry Ford in this regard was the development of automotive mechanic in 1899. In 1899 he founded the Detroit automobile company. After this first step by him he established Ford motor in 1903. At the time of creation of Ford motor there already exists 87 different companies with different brands in US. Henry Ford established Ford motors with a new and different vision. This allowed people with a lower income the opportunity to afford an automobile. One of the biggest changes in the automobile industry occurred in 1913 with the introduction of a perfected assembly line method.
