Eddp Reflection

I have played in the Elite Club National league in Arizona for 4 years which implies a lot of traveling most weekends. ECNL is a step above State league, allowing us to play the hardest teams in the Nation. Each week we practice a minimum of 3 times a week for 2 to 3 hours a day and play 2 games each weekend. Many of our games however require us to go out of State. Taking away hours of our time for driving and eating out.

This simulation experience allowed me to practice my focused assessment skills, delegation of tasks, prioritization on of tasks, interdisciplinary communication skills, and skills that I have not been able to participate in such as blood administration. I learned that my strengths are patient education, delegation, noticing changes in patient condition, and working as a member of a team. I need to improve my speed of completing tasks, my confidence, and my process of working through new skills.

If any class I’m taking requires a speech that must be presented in front of others, I immediately dread the due date for that assignment. While the student, whose turn is before mine, is reciting his or her speech, I cannot help but feel my heart race and the palms of my hands begin to sweat. No matter how many times I take a deep breath and tell myself to relax, I still feel anxious. My anxiety towards public speaking has been happening to me since as long as I can remember. I was eager to take the PRPSA questionnaire to determine where on the scale my level of anxiety towards public speaking falls. Looking back at the first couple days in ENC 1101 I was absolutely overwhelmed and stressed about the amount of essay’s that were going to be done. I looked at the syllabus which provided all the work that was going to be done and I wanted to jump of a bridge. Not being fully prepared in high school didn’t help me with my panic. I truly felt in the beginning that it was going to be too hard and I was not going to make it. Through the class I learned many things, the first paper was a minor headache but it really helped me with thoughts, how an essay supposed to flow, and the style of a paper. Before I began this course I thought that I was a really good writer and that I would strive in ENC 1101 with ease. I assumed this because I was always getting good grades in my previous English courses in high school. Most of my papers in high school I had got a high B or an A. But I got a big awakening when I turned in my first paper in ENC 1101. This is because I had assumed that I was going to get a good grade because I thought I had answered all the things that were listed on the rubric that you handed us. I excited that teaching in the DPP is about to become reality. Daniel and I have enjoyed meeting everyone over the past 3 months. I know Ms. Yates preferred Monday or Tuesday evening. The beginning of this class coincides with the beginning of my assigning graded work to the students in my class. As I began to express the importance of vocabulary to the students in my class, it dawned on me that I must meet the same expectation in my course.

I still have resources to read. I was only able to read a chapter or two for the books that I used in my ILP’s but they both were intriguing so I want to read more of those books because I think they would be a great resource. I want I want to read more into how global warming has effected places other than the arctic. I want to ask people about what they know about climate change to get a proper basis for how much I need to explain each thing in my paper. I plan on talking to professionals who first hand know how serious this is. I need to consider how I need to set my paper up so that it makes logical sense and isn’t confusing. My name is Eddreccia Poole. I am seventeen years old. I chose to tell the story of how I became a nonresident student at Finch-Henry Job Corps Center. I am originally from Water Valley, MS., Where I attended school through eighth grade. I was a cheerleader in junior High and maintained decent grade with the exception of my most feared subject which is math. Anything dealing with numbers totals freaks me out. I am terrified of math!

During this time DI worked on safety skills and personal information for Audriana. DI wrote Audriana personal information and printed for future session Audriana and DI practice her dad & mom name, address and her parents phone number. In addition DI research for social stories which Audriana und acknowledge that it's important to stay close to an adult when she is at school, home, daycare or in the community.

At DePauw, I want to study english literature in hopes of one day working as an editor at a book publishing company. One might think that this means that reading and writing are naturally easy for me, but in truth I often struggle to get my thoughts gathered and cohesively written on paper. That is why I want to pursue work as an editor rather than a writer. I’m much better at tweaking and critiquing another’s work than producing my own. Much to my displeasure, I also find that I write some of my best work under the pressure of a time crunch. I realize I need to work to get out of that habit this year.

I am shocked to hear that your district doesn't offer a language proficiency test, but I am aware that my old high school also failed to offer a test. Secondly, I really enjoyed hearing about your choice as an informal assessment. For example, I would have never thought freedom of speech to be relevant; however, it is extremely relevant when it pertains to your classroom. I really think we sometimes take the First Amendment for granted, but honestly, it is what allows for us to engage in discourse without the threat of political/legal repercussions. Let me tell you my story as a person who is clinically diagnosed with Dependent personality disorder. It was not until I reached my puberty that I noticed myself all the wonderful possibilities that could happen to me if I don’t avoid isolating myself with my own world. But first what is DPD? DPD negatively impacts every facet of the lives of those suffering from it. Depending on others, feeling helpless and wanting someone to do things for you is like a lifelong dilemma. Living in a People who suffer from DPD can be frightening and frustrating, I should know since I saw my family having a hard time around me. I rely on other people to meet my emotional and physical needs and it is a long run harmful not by just me but also for the people

My experience with ADP has been terrific. My co-workers were very helpful, friendly, and understanding. When working with people you enjoy, work doesn’t seem like work. At ADP, there’s energy in the air. My ADP co-workers love their jobs and that created an ideal work environment for me this summer.

PDP, Personal development planning. One of the first year core modules at Cardiff Metropolitan University, according to the module handbook for the PDP (2016) ‘’develop an understanding of employability, and the personal, academic, reflective and professional skills required. Additionally, it will provide an accurate evidence base for student evolving employability attributes and competencies’’.
