Recommendation for social media use.
Dear Ms. Douglass
Thank you for considering my recommendation for the use of social media in the work place. As was stated in my informative report, the use of social media in the work place would be a benefit in the sales and advertisement department. With having a slight risk of cyber attacks gaining sensitive data, a social media policy will prevent this from accruing. After reviewing the research, I think this organization should adopt the new policy because the benefit outweighs the risk.
With the employees sharing the company projects and products, this will draw more attention and new clients to the company. Considering that many company's are allowing employees to use their media platforms for company gain, please consider this, "More than half of businesses rate social media as a positive resource for increasing revenue and sales" (Westwood, 1). For this
reason, it will put the company on a forward track in increase sales and clients. This would be a positive move for the company's image, while keeping the employees morale up.
Cyber attacks can be averted with the right policy in place. With a policy being use about internet usage, hackers can be deterred from the company's sensitive data. Therefore, having the employees following the policy guidelines will safeguard the company.
My recommendation for our company is to allow the use of social media in the work place. The use of social media is a big part of our employees lives so, using this to our advantage can help us get our products to different media platforms. When the employees are happy, the company makes great strides and progress Thank you for taking the time to consider my recommendation.
